Millennium Gallery
The Millenium Gallery is one of six of the city’s museums and galleries run by Sheffield Museums. Their exhibitions and displays cover everything from social and industrial history to archaeology, science and art. The Millennium Gallery hosts changing exhibitions of top national and international art and design, alongside amazing local talent. It also celebrates Sheffield’s world-famous metalwork and features stunning objects brought to the city by artist and writer John Ruskin. A brilliant place to explore creativity, heritage and innovation.

Assistant Site Manager
As an Assistant Site Manager, you would help make sure everything at the museum runs smoothly each day. Learning Deliverer
As a Learning Deliverer, you would lead fun and inspiring sessions for school groups and families. That could mean storytelling, craft activities or helping children discover amazing facts about history, art or science. You would help visitors learn in hands-on, creative ways. You would need to be energetic, imaginative and brilliant at explaining things clearly.
Retail Assistant
As a Retail Assistant, you would work in the museum shop helping customers find the perfect souvenir. You might sell books, toys or gifts linked to the exhibits. You would make sure the shop looks tidy, restock shelves and take payments. You would need to be helpful, organised and enjoy working in a busy environment.
Visitor Assistant
As a Visitor Assistant, you would be one of the first people visitors meet when they arrive at the museum. You would give them a friendly welcome, help answer questions and make sure everyone has a great time. You would also help keep the museum safe and protect the amazing objects on display. You would need to be polite, observant and enjoy talking to all kinds of people.
Visitor Fundraiser
As a Visitor Fundraiser, you would chat to visitors and let them know how their donations help protect Sheffield’s history and run exciting exhibitions. You would explain the museum’s work, answer questions and encourage people to give what they can. You would need to be friendly, confident and able to talk about why museums matter.
